One-On-One Coaching: It's all about your needs, your business
It needs to be said, right up front, that working
with a business coach can be intense and hard work. You will
be asked to answer often complex and probing questions
and required to account for your actions as you proceed
in building your business. Your coach will assist you
with insights, feedback, and information so that your
answers reflect the true nature and direction you want
for your business. Our clients tell us that this is
the most personally rewarding work they have ever done
for their business.
We will use the business planning process to help you
develop the business you dream about. Even clients that
come to us with a business plan already written will
be coached in a shortened, modified version of our 3
month plan writing process. It is a disciplined approach
that requires you to commit to:
- weekly 30-45 minute phone sessions for at least 3 months
- homework each week as you proceed through the development of your plan
- being on time
- working with the process
- written summaries of your progress
- having fun watching your vision of your business grow
We will provide you with:
- Focus
- direction
- the ability to set attainable goals
- accountability
- worksheets and tutorials
- clarity
- structure
- time management that works
As your confidence and business building skills develop and improve, the process will lead you to understand that there is life after business and that success means more than money (though money is certainly important!)
Once our clients have completed the business plans process and have gained new understanding and direction, many engage us to continue coaching for implementation and accountability. This is usually a 2-3 month contract that can be renewed monthly. During this phase of coaching additional necessary business materials and processes are often created such as:
- Employee manuals with training and evaluation procedures
- General policy and procedure manuals
- Customer service policies
- Compliance manuals
- Financial Statement reviews
- Advertising and Promotionals pieces (brochures, ads, direct mail, website etc.)
